Q: How far in advance must I place an order?

 

A: Kakes4U requires 2-3 weeks notice for any and all custom cake orders. However, if you find yourself with less than 2 weeks. You may still contact us, but please note that there will be a ($25.00) rush order fee. Except for Wedding cakes which require atleast 2-3 months notice. To insure availability for the day of your event, we reccommend you place your order as soon as possible.

Q: How do you price your cakes?

A: Our cakes are based on the number of servings and the complexity of the design. Please note that prices are subject to change due to the nature of our products. Contact us for a price qoute.

Q: How much are your Wedding cakes?

A: Wedding cakes start at $6.00 per servings for Buttercream and $8.00 per serving for Fondant. We require a minimum of 75 servings.

Q: What type of payment do you accept?

A: We accept Cash,Debit & Credit Cards. (We Do Not Accept Checks)

Q: Do you require a deposit on your cakes?

A: Yes. A 50% Non-Refundable deposit is required to secure your date with the remaining balance due at least 1 week prior to your event. Your order is not confirmed until we recieve your deposit. Cake orders placed with less than two weeks notice require payment in full. If you have to cancel your order, your balance payment may be used as a credit for future orders provided Kakes4U is notified at least 5 business days prior to the event and depending on our availabilty. For changes to your cake 72 hours notice is required EXCEPT cakes with fondant figurines etc. Due to the time needed to create and dry these elements, they are made in advance.

Q: Do you deliver?

A: Yes. Fees are calculated based on location. Set up fees are additional and once the cake is set up, it is no longer the responsibility of Kakes4U. So please make sure the table is sturdy and can hold 50lbs or more.

Q: I have a picture of a cake, can you copy it?

A: We will try our best to create a replica, if not better. Please keep in mind pictures that you send to us were done by another cake artist and there will be a difference in the cake that we produce for you. 

Q: Can you match colors for my cake?

A: If you provide a swatch or something with your colors, we will do our best to match the color(s) as close as possible, but please keep in mind that due to food coloring limitations. We may not be able to match all colors and we cannot guarantee an exact.

Q: Do your products contain nuts?

A: Yes. At the moment we do not offer any cakes related to dietary restrictions. Our products contain or are processed on equipment that process allergenic foods, such as eggs, dairy, peanut, wheat and soy.

Q: Do you offer cake tasting?

 

A: Yes. Cake tasting is offered for weddings only. There is a $30 tasting fee which allows up to a minimum of (3) people. ($15 for each additional person) If you choose to move forward with our services it will be applied to your order. You are allowed to choose 2-3 flavors.

Q: Do you ship?

A: No , Only Items that are listed under online order tab
